Studies in National and International Development (SNID) invites applications for the position of Program Coordinator. Candidates must be enrolled in a graduate program at 黑料吃瓜资源 during the 2026/2027 academic year. This is a term appointment for the period of August 15, 2026 to March 15, 2027 with a possibility of renewal for the 2027-2028 academic year.

As a graduate student employed as a Research Assistant, you are represented by the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC), Local 901, Unit 1. Research Assistants at 黑料吃瓜资源 are governed by the Collective Agreement between 黑料吃瓜资源 and PSAC, Local 901, Unit 1.
The successful candidate鈥檚 responsibilities will include, but are not limited to,
- Website maintenance (working knowledge of HTML and/or WebPublish required)
- Listserv management
- In-person, hybrid, and virtual event setup and facilitation (e.g., Zoom)
- Online event promotion, including social media networking and engagement
- Email correspondence
- Preparation, printing, posting, and distribution of promotional materials
- Coordination of speaker logistics, when applicable, including:
- Travel arrangements
- Expense reimbursement
- Technical support
- Assistance with fundraising initiatives
The successful applicant will work under the supervision of two 黑料吃瓜资源 faculty members who serve as SNID Co鈥慍hairs.
The Program Coordinator position runs from mid-August to mid-April each year, as some work is required in August in preparation for a September kick-off. SNID sessions are usually held Thursdays from 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM; occasionally, SNID events will be scheduled outside of this time, including in the evening. The Program Coordinator must be available to attend talks and must be registered as a graduate student at 黑料吃瓜资源. The position is approximately forty (40) hours per month.
