Rose Family MEERL Award

Established through the generosity of Michael Rose (BSc ’79) and Susan Riddell Rose (BSc ’86), the Rose Family MEERL Award helps reduce financial barriers for professionals pursuing the Master of Earth and Energy Resources Leadership (MEERL) program at ºÚÁϳԹÏ×ÊÔ´. The award reflects the Roses' commitment to education and developing the next generation of leaders in the natural resources sector.

Up to $30,000 in funding is available annually through the Rose Family MEERL Award, with individual award amounts varying by recipient. Awards recognize financial need, leadership potential, resilience, and commitment to making a meaningful impact in the natural resources sector.

To be considered for the Rose Family MEERL Award, applicants must:

  • Be accepted into the MEERL program
  • Demonstrate financial need
  • Demonstrate leadership potential and a commitment to meaningful impact within the natural resources sector

How to Apply
