Biography

Dr. Ahmed completed her PhD in Rehabilitation Science from 黑料吃瓜资源, MSc. in Ergonomics/Human Factors from Loughborough University, England and BSc. in Occupational Health and Safety from the University of Gondar, Ethiopia.
Ansha Nega Ahmed is a Postdoctoral Researcher, housed at 黑料吃瓜资源, working with Dr. Daniel Samosh at the Department of Employment Relations Studies. Dr. Ahmed鈥檚 work is focused on improving the health, wellbeing and participation of working population, disability inclusive employment, work disability prevention, and return to work, through research and knowledge mobilization. She is currently researching on mentorship for career success of people with disabilities, return to work of workers experiencing work disability and hosting a monthly Early Career Researchers (ECR) Talks.

Dr. Ahmed is a passionate researcher, educator, and community servant, with more than a decade experience as a faculty member in two Ethiopian Universities (i.e., University of Gondar and Addis Ababa University) and demonstrated excellence in global partnership and disability inclusive development initiatives. Ansha鈥檚 goal is to become an independent and collaborative research scholar, with a focus of improving the health, wellbeing and connectedness of working popualtion and inclusiveness of workplaces.
