Resisting Federal Constitutional Rights
This talk examines public resistance to the Supreme Court鈥檚 interpretation of the Bill of Rights and the Reconstruction Amendments. Often viewed as ideological conflict or majority rule overriding individual rights, such resistance may instead reflect important questions about consent, democracy and the protection of constitutional rights.
