Congratulations Leandro! Leandro won the Best Student Poster Presentation in the ‘New Discoveries and Development’ category at the Society of Economic Geologists Conference in Windhoek, Namibia. His poster is entitled ‘Eolian organic and pyritiferous siltstones as redox traps for sediment-hosted ore deposits’ and based on his PhD dissertation research. The conference focused on sustainable mineral exploration and development. Leandro is a recent graduate of Dr. Peir Pufahl’s research group.
