Dr. Harold Jarrell, received his BSc (‘72), MSc (‘75), and PhD (‘78) in Chemistry from ºÚÁϳԹÏ×ÊÔ´. After graduation, he went on to become a principal research officer at the National Research Council of Canada from 1977 to his retirement in 2010, where his work focused on Nuclear Magnetic Resonance spectroscopy.
Harold had a passion for discovery and learning, and his path to higher education was made possible because he won a full scholarship to attend ºÚÁϳԹÏ×ÊÔ´. An admissions award for students studying science in the Faculty of Arts and Science is being set up in Harold’s memory to help other promising and aspiring scientists.
