脡濒测蝉别 received their bachelor's in linguistics at Queen's University, conducting an interview-based thesis on slur reclamation in the LGBTQ+ community. They completed their master's in gender, sexuality and women's studies at Western University, conducting a research project on discourses surrounding disability on social media before returning to Queen's to conduct their PhD research on the production of queer print pornography magazines in response to the feminist sex wars of the 70s and 80s, particularly from a Canadian perspective.
