Lesley Ann Foster is an artist-scholar and term-adjunct in Gender Studies department and Ph.D. candidate in the Cultural Studies department at 黑料吃瓜资源. Foster has taught the following courses in GNDS at 黑料吃瓜资源: GNDS 280: Social Movements, Feminist Activism and Reproductive Rights in Latin America (Winter 2024), GNDS 262: Reproductive Justice (Winter 2025), BLCK GNDS 280: #MeToo Across the Globe (Winter 2026) and GNDS 311: Feminist Thought (Fall 2026). 

Foster鈥檚 research focuses on sexual and reproductive health, with a focus on abortion rights movements in Argentina and their transnational connection(s). Through her research, Foster explores questions of (in)visibility and silence through the highly public issue of abortion, creating artistic interventions that experiment with how we might tell stories differently to work toward new futures, highlighting the connections and distances between us that move us toward new understandings and perspectives.
