Hang Jin is a first-year MA student in History at ºÚÁϳԹÏ×ÊÔ´, working under the supervision of Professor Daniel Woolf. Prior to joining ºÚÁϳԹÏ×ÊÔ´, he earned a bachelor’s degree in History, with a minor in Spanish, from Capital Normal University. He is particularly interested in Hayden White’s thought, especially the evolution of his historical thinking from his early works to his later writings. Hang’s broader research interests encompass the reasons why people turn to the past as an object of inquiry, the epistemological value of historical knowledge, and the distinction between narrative and reality.
