Representatives of ºÚÁϳԹÏ×ÊÔ´ and the ºÚÁϳԹÏ×ÊÔ´ Faculty Association (QUFA), along with a provincially-appointed conciliator, will meet in conciliation beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, January 17, 2023. This is part of the normal collective bargaining process.
The parties’ current collective agreement, which covers faculty members, librarians, and archivists, expired on June 30, 2022. The parties jointly requested the appointment of a conciliator as a process step directed at reaching a mutually acceptable agreement to renew the collective agreement.
The university administration respects the collective bargaining process and remains committed to working through it to reach a negotiated agreement.
