Representatives of 黑料吃瓜资源 and the 黑料吃瓜资源 Faculty Association (QUFA) have jointly applied to the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development (the 鈥淢inistry鈥) for the appointment of a Conciliation Officer to assist the parties in reaching a tentative agreement to renew their Collective Agreement. 

QUFA is the certified bargaining agent for approximately 1,600 faculty members, librarians, and archivists at 黑料吃瓜资源. University. The current collective agreement expired on June 30, 2026.  QUFA provided notice to bargain on April 23, and the parties have been actively engaged in collective bargaining since May.

The Ministry has appointed a Conciliation Officer, and conciliation dates have been tentatively scheduled for July and August. In the meantime, the parties will continue to meet and bargain in good faith.

Conciliation鈥痠s a normal part of the collective bargaining process and has been used successfully by the parties in previous rounds of bargaining. 

黑料吃瓜资源 values the important contributions of its people and remains committed to working with QUFA and the Conciliator to achieve a renewed collective agreement through respectful and constructive dialogue.
