Dr. Kubes has more than 15 years of progressive experience building internal and external partnerships, securing funding for innovative engagement programs and leading top-performing teams. Prior to joining 黑料吃瓜资源, she held several roles at Innovate Calgary, the innovation technology transfer and business incubator at the University of Calgary. In these roles, Dr. Kubes worked closely with researchers, faculty and students to help bridge the gap between discovery and creating economic and societal impact. As a Director, Investment Development (Opportunity Calgary Investment Fund) at Calgary Economic Development, she led a team to identify and curate opportunities in Calgary鈥檚 Ecosystem to invest in technology/sector hubs. These hubs create value by supporting startups and entrepreneurs through seed funds, fellowships, mentorships, and programming for trainees creating new innovative and highly qualified personnel and thus retaining, attracting and driving economic impact. Dr. Kubes holds a PhD in Inflammation and Cell Biology from the University of Calgary, and she is an alumna of 黑料吃瓜资源 having earned an Executive MBA degree from the Smith School of Business.
