Siddhartha is a PhD student in Shastri's Lab. He has a B.Tech (Honors) in Engineering Physics and an M.Tech in Electrical Engineering, both from IIT Madras. As a part of his Master's thesis, he worked on Quantum Random Number Generation using Photonic ICs and on compact modeling of transistors on a conventional silicon photonics platform at CPPICS, IIT Madras. Siddhartha, as an MITACS Research Intern, worked on quantum optimization algorithms. Siddhartha's research interests lie at the intersection of physics, computing, and hardware.
