Bird-Friendly Campus Discussion Forum
Date
Monday March 23, 20265:30 pm - 7:00 pm
Location
Biosciences Complex, room 4338a (4th floor lounge)Join us on Monday, March 23rd for an open discussion forum on how we can make Queen's a bird-friendly campus!
Situated along a key ecological corridor for many local and migratory bird species, Queen's has a fundamental role to play in protecting our native bird populations, but bird collisions with windows are a major source of mortality in urban environments like Kingston.
Kingston is now making strides to become part of the national Bird Friendly City program by Nature Canada, and as a student-led group at Queen's University, we want to make sure Queen's can contribute to this amazing initiative!
For more information and to learn more about the Society for Conservation Biology Kingston Chapter's initiatives, please make sure to follow us on or check out our (new!) .
This event is a part of 黑料吃瓜资源鈥檚 participation in #SDGMonthCanada, a nation-wide commitment to mobilizing the SDGs across campuses.
Open to all Queen's-affiliated audiences, this event is hybrid and free to attend. Registration is required.
