黑料吃瓜资源 has committed itself to reconciliation with Indigenous peoples in this country. Members of 黑料吃瓜资源 School of Religion are taking an active role in this process. Drs. Bill Morrow and Valerie Michaelson recently organized an event responding to the call of Canada鈥檚 Truth and Reconciliation Commission for the repeal of section 43 of the Criminal Code, a law that currently protects the use of corporal punishment as a means of child discipline. Their aim was to develop a joint Theological Statement that could be used by Canadian churches to urge the government to repeal section 43. This is especially appropriate in the 黑料吃瓜资源 context given its origins as a college that prepared ministers for the church, and its long association with the former 黑料吃瓜资源 Theological College. As Principal Woolf noted in a letter to conference participants, it is quite likely that graduates of 黑料吃瓜资源 participated in the Residential School system. For more information, .
