Students in the 2026 Undergraduate Student Summer Research Fellowships (USSRF) and Undergraduate Student Research Awards (USRA) programs are encouraged to submit an abstract summarizing their summer research project. The abstract will be published in the journal and needs to be submitted by August 24. To submit your abstract, please follow these steps:
- Follow this link to the
- Login to your existing account or register for a new account.
- Select either 鈥淯SSRF Abstracts鈥 or 鈥淯SRA Abstracts鈥 under 鈥淪ection鈥.
- In Comments to the Editor, provide the name of your faculty supervisor(s) and, if applicable, supporting lab instructor(s).
- Agree to the copyright and privacy statement for the journal. Click 鈥淪ave and Continue鈥.
- Do not upload a file as this is not needed for Abstract Proceedings. Click 鈥淪ave and Continue鈥.
- Enter the title, subtitle and abstract for your paper and, if applicable, co-authors, which in this case would likely be your supervisor. If you need assistance with writing your abstract, Student Academic Success Services can help. or .
- Add the 鈥渟ubject鈥 for your paper (under additional refinement). Subject should be the department or program that you are registered in. Please write the program exactly as listed here: Departments & Programs | Queen's University (queensu.ca)
- Click on 鈥淔inish Submission."
