Myla Demers (MPA '26) is currently completing a MITACS internship with the Prentice Institute for Global Population and Economy at the University of Lethbridge, in Lethbridge, Alberta.
Myla is working as a Research Associate Intern with Dr. Lars Hallstr枚m and Dr. Andrea Cuellar. They are working in partnership with the Oldman Watershed Council, one of the eleven Watershed Planning and Advisory Councils (WPACs) in Alberta, to develop the socio-economic pillar for their forthcoming ten-year state of the watershed assessment.
