"The Dark Matter Discoverer's Guidebook" is published!

I am very excited to announce that the textbook, "The Dark Matter Discoverer's Guidebook", is now ! Dr. Jodi Cooley and I co-authored  this book over three years of work. Since no one has discovered the constituents of dark matter, this is definitely a "work in progress". Our goal was to capture the case for dark matter, specifically particle-like dark matter, and show the many paths by which discovery might happen. This is the book we wish we had when we started our physics careers.

黑料吃瓜资源 Gazette: Dark matter mysteries (and our plan to solve them)

The 黑料吃瓜资源 Gazette recently published an article on the ongoing quest to understand dark matter. The story features key voices from 黑料吃瓜资源, the McDonald Institute, and SNOLAB. This is an exciting time for this search as new experiments come online and we head into the 鈥淕eneration 3鈥 era within the next few years. It is especially important for students, from secondary school to graduate programs, to be part of this journey. After all, one day they will lead the field.

Deep Lab, Dark Matter, and Dying Stars

In addition to my research, I have taught a range of courses across university levels, including introductory physics, relativity, quantum physics, honors levels of physics courses, a special seminar on quantum spin for graduate students, and even a teaching practicum for graduate students. I am also an author. In 2024 I published a textbook, "The Dark Matter Discoverer's Guidebook", with my colleague Prof. Jodi Cooley.
