Art History graduate students tour Canadian Museum of History vaults

 Art History Graduate Students Cicely Haggerty and Anna Douglas toured the vaults at the Canadian Museum of History, Ottawa, as part of the graduate seminar ARTH 876, Studies in Curatorial Practice and Cultural Policy.

Titled "The Struggle to Preserve Italy’s Early Churches during World War Two", Prof. Hoeniger focuses on the preservation process of specific churches, including establishing anti-aerial protection for the buildings and their art.

Art Conservation Professor receives $30K in SSHRC funding

Emy Kim, Assistant Professor of Artifacts Conservation, has received $30,000 in funding from a SSHRC Connection Grant for "Antiquities through Modern Eyes", the 2023 exhibition at City Hall and accompanying symposium and online exhibition.
