Andrea 鈥疌harron鈥痟olds a PhD from the Royal Military College of Canada (Department of War Studies). She鈥痠s Director of the Centre for Defence and Security Studies, and Professor of International Relations at the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Canada. Dr.鈥疌harron鈥痺orked for various federal departments including the Canadian Privy Council Office in the Security and Intelligence Secretariat before beginning her academic career.鈥疭he writes extensively on Arctic security, NATO, NORAD and Canadian defence policy.鈥疭he is coauthor of鈥NORAD: In Perpetuity and Beyond (MQUP, 2022), co-editor of鈥The Legacy of 9/11: Views from North America鈥(MQUP, 2023)鈥痑nd several others on sanctions.
