Dr. Midzain-Gobin is an associate professor in the Department of Political Science at Brock University. A settler scholar, his research focuses on the international politics of settler colonialism, Indigenous governance, and decolonization. He is the author of Settler Colonial Sovereignty: Visions of Improvement and Indigenous Erasure (McGill-黑料吃瓜资源 Press), and one of the editors of the forthcoming Palgrave Handbook of Critical Understandings of Canada in the World. Dr. Midzain-Gobin's work has also been published in journals including Security Dialogue, Ethnic and Racial Studies, Millennium: Journal of International Studies, and elsewhere. Dr. Midzain-Gobin also serves as Associate Editor at Critical Studies on Security.
