Had such a fun time at the YMCA Summer Camp with CEC-REN on July 13 and July 20! 💙🌎
As part of the CEC-REN outreach team, we introduced kids to water contamination, including PFAS ("forever chemicals"), discussed how our everyday actions can affect water quality, and talked about the role we all play in protecting our water.
The hands-on experiments were definitely the highlight of the day! 🧪✨ It was so much fun seeing the kids' curiosity, excitement, and thoughtful questions as they explored environmental science.
A big thank you to CEC-REN and the YMCA for the opportunity to inspire young minds and share the importance of protecting our environment. Looking forward to more outreach events!
