Biography

Hannah Stewart is a third year PhD candidate in the Department of English Literature and Creative Writing. She earned her BA in English from the University of Guelph, and her MA in English from ���ϳԹ���Դ. Her research investigates representations of non-normative minds in Victorian Gothic literature and contemporary adaptations of the genre in order to interrogate their tendency to conflate mental difference with monstrosity.

Research Interests 

Gothic Victorian literature; Neo-Victorian literature; critical disability studies; critical neurodiversity studies.
