This Thrive 365 session will help participants explore how adopting a growth mindset can support learning, adaptability, collaboration, and confidence in dynamic work environments. A growth mindset is the belief that abilities and skills can be developed through effort, learning, feedback, and persistence. In contrast, a fixed mindset can lead individuals to avoid challenges, feel discouraged by setbacks, or believe that certain abilities cannot be improved.
Participants can expect to:
- Understand the benefits of a growth mindset and how it can support professional development
- Recognize common fixed mindset triggers, including fear of failure, perfectionism, and avoidance of feedback
- Learn how to shift from fixed thinking to growth-oriented thinking
- Explore the power of a “yet” attitude to reframe limitations as learning opportunities
- Build practical strategies for navigating challenges with confidence, adaptability, and resilience
- Consider how to support a culture of learning, curiosity, and continuous improvement within teams
This session supports Thrive 365's focus on Intellectual Wellness by encouraging lifelong learning, curiosity, self-reflection, and skill development. It also supports Personal Wellness by strengthening resilience and adaptability, and contributes to Culture by promoting learning, openness to feedback, and continuous improvement in the workplace.
