ºÚÁϳԹÏ×ÊÔ´

The ºÚÁϳԹÏ×ÊÔ´ flag will be lowered to half-mast on campus from Friday, November 22 through Sunday, November 24, in memory of Ita McConnell, a longtime staff member of the ºÚÁϳԹÏ×ÊÔ´ International Centre (QUIC).

McConnell passed away on Oct. 20 at the age of 64 after a battle with cancer. She worked at ºÚÁϳԹÏ×ÊÔ´ for 20 years, the last 14 at the QUIC, and she was often the first person an international student would meet as they entered the space. Her warmth, laughter, positivity, and energy made everyone feel welcome and a part of the campus community.
