We are an Employee Resource Group aspiring to equip the newcomer and long-standing international employee community at Queen's with the resources needed to thrive in a new country, a new culture, and a new environment. Meet our organizing committee.

We are committed to: 

  • Building a robust social and supportive community for new and longstanding international employees;
  • Providing a platform for professional development and networking; and
  • Partnering with other Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) across ºÚÁϳԹÏ×ÊÔ´ to expand newcomers’ and long-standing international employees’ circle.

Stories of Belonging and Social Connection

A project funded by the Matariki Network, ‘Stories of Belonging and Social Connection: A Micro-video Series Introducing Employee Resource Groups,’ features a series of videos spotlighting the university’s Employee Resource Groups (ERG) and how they connect to the broader themes of belonging, social connection, inclusion, and employee wellbeing at ºÚÁϳԹÏ×ÊÔ´. The video project, shot and edited by ºÚÁϳԹÏ×ÊÔ´ students, was in conjunction with partners from the University of the Western Cape (Cape Town, South Africa).
