Join us for an in-person information session designed to support 黑料吃瓜资源 staff and faculty who are exploring pathways to Canadian Permanent Residency. Whether you are just beginning your journey or actively planning next steps, this session will provide clarity, practical insights, and trusted guidance.
Queen's Global Connect, in partnership with Queen's Human Resources, is pleased to host an in-person information session on Canadian Permanent Residency (PR) pathways for staff and faculty. The session will be facilitated by Era Macwan (Office of the Provost), who will guide participants through commonly used immigration pathways relevant to employees working in Canada.
The focus will be on building understanding, reducing uncertainty, and helping participants feel more confident as they consider their PR options.
Topics will include:
- An overview of key economic immigration pathways, including Express Entry
- Ontario Provincial Nominee Program (OINP) streams relevant to skilled workers
- General considerations when planning a PR application while working in Canada
- Common questions and misconceptions about Permanent Residency pathways
Time will be reserved for questions at the end of the session.
