JAPN 200, 鈥淚ntroductory Japanese II鈥, conducts an interview project in the winter semester every year. At the end of February 2025, twenty students in JAPN 200 had the opportunity to interview sixteen Japanese volunteers for an hour and a half.

Danielle Lussier was appointed a 黑料吃瓜资源 National Scholar in 2024 and aims to contribute to establishing an independent Indigenous Knowledges and Perspectives program at 黑料吃瓜资源, building on the work of other Indigenous faculty and notable alumni.

In early November, students in SPAN111 Sections 005 and 006 were treated to a special cultural experience when two dancers from the in Toronto visited our class. This renowned Mexican dance company, established in Toronto, aims to share and preserve the rich history, culture, art, and spirit of Mexico through dance.
