Queen's Society of Optics is a joint Optica-SPIE Student Chapter. This chapter acts as a space for students and researchers with similar interests to share ideas, learn new topics, and widen their research impact!

Gender Minorities in Physics (GEMINI-P) is a student-led group supported by the department seeking to educate about, and improve the quality of life, research, and education for those in physics and related fields who experience additional barriers due to their gender.

Women+ in Physics Canada (WIPC+) Conference aims to foster inclusivity and diversity within the physics community by providing a platform for gender minorities and their allies to share research, network, and develop professionally.

WiSE is a student-run organization that is committed to promoting and advocating for the involvement of women in STEM through mentorship programs, networking events and a variety of outreach initiatives.

Science Rendezvous
 

Science Rendezvous Kingston is a free, annual science festival aimed at families hosted by Queen's. The event is run by researchers and students who host hands-on activities, interactive demonstrations, and engaging experiments that make science accessible to all ages.

Women in Engineering
 

Women in Engineering (WiE) is an organization dedicated to supporting and empowering women and gender-diverse students in engineering through mentorship programs, outreach initiatives, networking events, and community-building activities.
