On July 21, Cayuse Sponsored Projects module — used to manage grants and contracts — went live at ºÚÁϳԹÏ×ÊÔ´. Since then, the Research Systems team at the Vice-Principal Research Portfolio has been stabilizing and refining the system to ensure it functions as intended. Some of these tasks have required more time than anticipated, with impact on overall project timelines.
The next module the team will be focusing on is Ethics, currently managed in TRAQ. Active development on this module is expected to start in 2027. Details on data migration and project timelines will be shared with the research community when available.
Until further notice, all Ethics files should still be managed in TRAQ, using existing processes and forms. No action is required from the research community at this time.
The Research Systems team remains committed to implementing the Cayuse Ethics module and retiring the TRAQ Ethics module. We will continue to share updates as the work progresses and developments emerge.
