Applications are now open for the Fall 2026 offering of SOCY 406/PHIL 406: Walls to Bridges (W2B): Othering through Social Control and Marginalization, taught by Dr. Nicole Myers.
Walls to Bridges is an experiential learning course that brings together students from ϳԹԴ (“outside students”) and students from a local federal prison (“inside students”). Through collaborative learning, participants engage with both lived experience and academic scholarship to examine the complexities of criminalization and punishment.
