Wed March 13th 4:30-6pm at 140 Stuart Street. Trans, non-binary, genderfluid, and other gender diverse students from ºÚÁϳԹÏ×ÊÔ´ are invited to join this space facilitated by students for students to study, co-work, parallel play, craft, play boardgames, enjoy snacks, and connect with peers. Please knock on arrival. 

2SLGBTQ+ students and their invited guests are welcome to join @queers4peers.ams on Wednesday evenings at 7pm for Queerly Watching (queer film screenings) at Rideau (third floor). This week (March 13th) we will be watching ‘Dear Ex’ which is a film about a teenager trapped in the middle of a bitter feud between his mother and a free-spirited man- who is both the lover and insurance beneficiary of his recently deceased father. Snacks, popcorn, and drinks available.

Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Coordinator Tianna Edwards (she/her) and Sexual and Gender Diversity Advisor, Kel Martin (They/He) are hosting drop-in advising office hours every Tuesday this year.

Black Queen's students are invited to drop by and have a casual chat with Tianna on resources tailored to your experience at Queen's.

2SLGBTQ+ Queen's students are invited to drop by to connect with Kel for: 

• Referrals to service providers or campus offices
• Navigating paperwork, such as name changes
• Accessing gender-affirming supports
• Connecting with community organizations
• Addressing systemic barriers on campus
• Information about programs and initiatives at YH and in the community

Heartstopper Mondays are here! Join us every Monday in March at 7pm at YH@Rideau (207 Stuart Street) for Heartstopper Watch Party and Crafting nights. Drop-in for snacks and crafts to wind down from the day!  

A Taste of Home is a cooking and mealkit program for BIPoC students to connect with recipes—some familiar, some not! BIPoC students are encouraged to register at the link in our bio to pick up your FREE meal kit between February 28th and March 1st.

Yellow House is looking for donations of used clothing! Please bring clean and gently used clothing to the Yellow House between now and March 8th. These clothes will go towards our BIPoC Clothing Swap on March 8th and remain at the Yellow House for students to browse, try on, and take as needed at any time going forward.

Weaving Our Lives: 2SLGBTQ+ students are invited to join Interfaith Chaplain Erin Burns, and 2SLGBTQ+ Faith & Spirituality Programming Assistant Sarah Husain to discuss faith and spirituality and check in on how life is going. There will be various materials to work on textile work while chatting- you are also welcome to bring your own project. Happening on Wednesday, March 13th from 12-2 pm at YH@Rideau (207 Stuart St) third floor.

This week (Feb 14th) we will be watching ‘Supernova’ a heartbreaking love story about two older gay men grappling with aging and dementia. Snacks, popcorn, and drinks available. 

Students who are BIPoC and/or 2SLGBTQ+ are invited to study at Rideau (207 Stuart- third floor) 12-4pm. There will be snacks, quiet study space, and on site support for writing services from a SASS representative!
