Wednesday November 9, 2022
5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Location

Mitchell Hall Interfaith Room (2nd floor room 210)

Date: Every Wednesdays 5:00pm – 6:00pm starting October 26th, 2022 – Drop-in sessions, all are welcome!

Location: Mitchell Hall Room 210, Interfaith Room

Program assistant Jared and Interfaith Chaplain Erin will be running a spirituality group for students seeking community who are interested in spirituality, mediation, and reflection.

We hope to provide a fun and safe environment for students to explore and share concepts surrounding spirituality, religion, and philosophy. The foundation of this group lends from the Hindu Satsang, a gathering together to seek truth. We wish to co-create a community and space which flowers ideas and perspectives with dual intention; (1) to work on ourselves as an offering to others and (2) to work with others as a way of working on ourselves. Ultimately, this is an attempt to cultivate loving compassion and realize our oneness!

We hope you will join us and encourage regular attendance for maximum benefits. All are welcome, just as you are.

Periphery: An evocative mixed media experience that bears witness to ethnic diversity in the Jewish community.

October 23rd 3pm QUIC (209 Mitchell Hall)

Periphery is an evocative photographic and film project that bears witness to ethnic diversity in the Jewish community.  Sharing narratives from individuals of multiracial and multiethnic backgrounds, Periphery creates space to look, listen, and learn from participants as they share their experiences and explore ideas of representation, intersectionality, ethnicity, race, and sexuality.  Periphery also draws our attention inwards and invites us to examine how we foster and support a broader and richer view of the Jewish community.

Free to attend! Please register at https://www.coing.co/u/f4d3860bd1
