A consultation has begun on seven new principles meant to articulate a shared approach to the design and use of assessment to support student learning.

Developed by the Senate Committee on Academic Development and Procedures (SCADP), ºÚÁϳԹÏ×ÊÔ´ Principles of Assessment are intended to inform instructors, learners, academic units, curriculum committees, and policy makers about how assessment is designed, implemented, and understood across the university.

ºÚÁϳԹÏ×ÊÔ´ students, staff, and faculty are encouraged to review the new procedure and are welcome to . The consultation period ends on July 15, 2026.
