The call for the 2026 Mexican Government Excellence Scholarships for Foreigners from the Mexican Government is now open for applications.
This scholarship program is open to students and researchers interested in pursuing academic studies, mobility programs, or research stays at participating Mexican higher education institutions.
The call is available to applicants from more than 170 countries and includes opportunities for:
- Undergraduate mobility programs (up to 12 months)
- Master's degree studies (up to 24 months)
- Master's-level academic mobility (up to 12 months)
- Doctoral research stays (6–12 months)
- Postdoctoral research stays (6–12 months)
*Please note, applications must be submitted in Spanish.
More than 90 Mexican Higher Education Institutions are participating in this edition of the program.
