In February, the virtual masterclass “Generative AI in Medicine: Foundations, Applications, and Responsible Use” was held, led by Dr. Sofia Valanci MD, PhD, CPC(HC) in collaboration with The Mexico-Canada Research and Learning Hub, Embassy of Mexico in Canada, and ϳԹԴ.
This introductory session provided participants with a practical overview of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI). Participants explored core concepts of AI and large language models, learned basic prompt engineering techniques, and reviewed real-world use cases. The talk also addressed ethical considerations and limitations to support safe and effective adoption in practice.
