This course explores art and art making from c. 700-1200 from the 鈥渋nsular鈥 manuscripts and high crosses of Ireland to the Bayeux Tapestry in England (or Normandy), the arts of the pilgrimage roads in France and Spain and the art of crusade in the Holy Land.
