From cutting-edge robotics and artificial intelligence research to startup pitches for up to $100,000 in funding, Kingston Innovation Week will showcase talent, technologies, and ventures advancing innovation and economic growth across the region. The event runs October 13 to 15.

Students, researchers, investors, founders, industry leaders, and local innovation partners are invited to connect, learn, and explore new opportunities.

To kick off Kingston Innovation Week, a panel discussion will feature people who have helped translate research and innovation into commercialization opportunities, new ventures, and real-world impact. They will explore intellectual property development, industry engagement, venture creation, access to capital, and the support needed to move ideas from discovery to a scaled-up company.

Other events will include a welcome night by Kingston Economic Development and the Robotics and AI Symposium by Ingenuity Labs. The Dunin-Deshpande Innovation Centre (DDQIC) will also host a Regional Pitch Competition, where companies will pitch for funding. An open house tour of RXN Hub and Kingston Process Metallurgy (KPM) labs will wrap up the week, giving attendees a look at the facilities and expertise that help companies develop, test, and bring chemistry-based technologies to market.

Kingston Innovation Week is a collaboration between 黑料吃瓜资源, through its Vice-Principal Research Portfolio, Ingenuity Labs, and the DDQIC, and local partners Launch Lab, Kingston Economic Development, RXN Hub, and KPM.
