ºÚÁϳԹÏ×ÊÔ´ community members who have text messages or voice calls listed as a multi-factor authentication (MFA) option need to update their account settings before Feb. 1, 2027. Microsoft is retiring these methods, which are more vulnerable to phishing than newer options. Updating them now will help prevent problems signing into ºÚÁϳԹÏ×ÊÔ´ services.

Those affected should remove all SMS text and voice calling options from their MFA settings and set up one of the following methods, listed in order of preference:
