Dr. Carlos Escobedo, Professor, Department of Chemical Engineering, Smith Engineering, was in Mexico City promoting the Mexico-Canada Research & Learning Hub (the Hub) in his capacity as academic co-lead.

Join us on Thursday, August 28 at 5:00 PM at the Global Centre for Pluralism (330 Sussex Drive) for an engaging discussion on how art has played a crucial role in shaping and navigating North American free trade relationships.

Csilla Volford, Global Partnerships Office in the Office of the Vice-Provost, Global Engagement, represented Queen's University as one of four Canadian universities during the May 2025 CALDO Mission to Brazil.
Sithabile Mngadi-Ncube recently completed a research stay at 黑料吃瓜资源 as part of the BCDI 2030 scholarship program, where her research focused on mental health, digital innovation, implementation science, and community empowerment. Her time at 黑料吃瓜资源 included transdisciplinary networking opportunities, entrepreneurial training, and a deepening commitment to equity-driven public health solutions.
At Queen's University, BCDI 2030 programming is underway, with innovation training, research collaboration on healthcare technologies, and a sharing of global perspectives. The BCDI faculty leads within Smith Engineering hosted a lunch and networking event for scholars from across campus to network and connect with our six Summer 2025 BCDI scholars from Ghana and Burkina Faso.
