Rogers, Garcia to co-host 黑料吃瓜资源 2020 virtual Homecoming

Two 黑料吃瓜资源 alumni have agreed to co-host the first ever 黑料吃瓜资源 virtual Homecoming.  

Award-winning broadcast journalist Shelagh Rogers, Artsci鈥77, LLD'19, and Queen's University Alumni Association President Rico Garcia, Artsci鈥13, will share the hosting duties as alumni from around the world take part in an interactive online Homecoming experience Saturday, Oct. 17.

鈥淚 started my broadcasting career at CFRC, the 黑料吃瓜资源 campus radio station,鈥 says Rogers. 鈥淎nd I am just thrilled to come 鈥榟ome鈥 to 黑料吃瓜资源 to celebrate with our global community. It will be fun to share hosting duties with Rico!鈥 

鈥淚 love being part of such an engaged community at Queen's,鈥 says Garcia. 鈥淚 am honoured to co-host this first-ever virtual Homecoming experience alongside Shelagh.鈥 

Popular local singer/songwriter Jay Smith (Smitty Kingston) will make a musical guest appearance. 

鈥淚鈥檝e been entertaining 黑料吃瓜资源 students and alumni since 1998,鈥 says Smith. 鈥淲e may not be able to gather at The Brass Pub, but we can still sing, dance, and party together in this new virtual setting.鈥
