After an intensive search, the Bader Chair in Art Conservation position has been awarded to Dr. Aaron Shugar. Dr. Shugar -- currently the Mellon Foundation Professor in the Art Conservation Department at the State University of New York, Buffalo State University -- holds a Ph.D.

Starting April 5, 2023, the new exhibition Antiquities Through Modern Eyes is presented at Kingston City Hall. The exhibition is created by Professor Emy Kim (Assistant Professor, Artifacts Conservation), Cristiana Zaccagnino (Professor, Department of Classics and Archaeology), M.A.C.
Ph.D. student Béatrice Cloutier-Trepanier has been awarded a SSHRC Postdoctoral Fellowship, to continue her research on American painter Lee Lozano. Cloutier-Trepanier is supervised by Prof. Jen Kennedy, and her postdoctoral project is tentatively titled, "Lee Lozano in (Feminist) Conversations", exploring Lozano's connection to emergent transnational and queer feminisms through her relationships with Yoko Ono and Yvonne Rainer, respectively. Congratulations to Béatrice on this competitive award!
