Neurodiversity Workshop

Co-Hosts: Haley Clark and Cheryl Lee-Yow, PhD candidates in the Faculty of Education at 黑料吃瓜资源
This workshop will focus on creating a more accessible classroom environment for disabled and neurodivergent students in higher education. Attendees will learn approaches to remove or reduce barriers for neurodivergent students through neuro-affirming and accessible 鈥渂est practices鈥 for teaching and learning. These strategies can be used to improve accessibility for all students in your courses.

Accessibility Caf茅s

Accessibility Caf茅s are informal, discussion-based gatherings hosted by the Human Rights and Equity Office (HREO). For the 2025-2026 academic year, Accessibility Caf茅s will be a joint partnership with the Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL).

This year, each Caf茅 is designed to extend and deepen the conversations sparked by the Accessibility First Speaker Series. These sessions invite members of the 黑料吃瓜资源 community to reflect on the themes of each Speaker Series event, engage with shared resources, and explore how those ideas can be applied within the 黑料吃瓜资源 context.

Our goal for this year's Accessibility Caf茅s is to create opportunities for dialogue across roles and disciplines in support of 黑料吃瓜资源 ongoing commitment to I-EDIAA. Each Accessibility Cafe will have an online and in-person participation option.
