IN-SIGHT

STORIES HAVE IMPACT. SHARE YOURS

At ºÚÁϳԹÏ×ÊÔ´, we are committed to fostering an inclusive environment free from harassment and discrimination. In-Sight is a powerful tool to empower you to share your experiences anonymously. We want you to know that your submission holds immense value in shaping our understanding of the challenges faced by our community and in identifying systemic trends. By sharing your experiences, you contribute to a comprehensive understanding of the trends on campus and barriers faced by marginalized groups and communities.

IN-SIGHT is an anonymous tool that allows members of the ºÚÁϳԹÏ×ÊÔ´ community to share experiences of harassment, discrimination, bias, or hate based on characteristics protected under the Ontario Human Rights Code (e.g., disability, gender identity, race, religion, sexual orientation). Whether you've experienced or witnessed these incidents, IN-SIGHT provides a way to voice your concerns.

Please Note: IN-SIGHT is not a formal reporting or complaint mechanism. If you wish to learn more about informal and formal options for responding to an incident of harassment, discrimination, or hate, please request a meeting with an advisor within our office.

How IN-SIGHT Works

  • You are not required to provide your name or contact information when using IN-SIGHT.

  • Information from anonymous submissions is used to provide a clearer picture of how harassment, discrimination, bias, and hate incidents affect the Queen's community.

  • This aggregate data helps protect your identify while enabling the university to address both new and recurring trends, and informs university policy, programming, services, and future anti-discrimination and harassment prevention initiatives.

  • There may be limits to confidentiality if information is shared that requires a response from the University, such as the disclosure of information related to self-harm or harm of another ºÚÁϳԹÏ×ÊÔ´ community member.

Your Next Steps

You may choose either option below—or complete both, depending on your needs.

Share an Incident Anonymously

Submitting an IN–SIGHT form means you:

  • Understand that the university’s ability to respond to your specific situation is limited.
  • Acknowledge that your submission is shared in summary form and helps ºÚÁϳԹÏ×ÊÔ´ better understand community experiences.
  • Recognize that this is not a formal complaint or report.
  • Understand that you will not be contacted regarding your submission.
