You are invited to the Arts & Science and Engineering & Applied Science Virtual International Exchange Fair!

Every year the Faculties of Arts & Science and Engineering & Applied Sciences collaborate to host an International Exchange Fair, at which students learn about more than 100 exchange universities in over 30 countries around the world.

Our Fair will be held virtually for the second time ever. Here are a few reasons we are excited about offering this event virtually:

1. You do not need to be in Kingston to attend the Fair – join from wherever you are in the world!
2. You can speak with program alumni who have previously studied on exchange and representatives from exchange universities around the world.
3. You can attend multiple sessions featuring different regions around the world and have unique international experiences all week.

Each 'day' will be held in a separate Microsoft Team that you will need to register for, and each of our partner universities will have its own Channel on their scheduled day. You will be able to "travel" from one Channel to another to engage with exchange university representatives and students studying at Queen's from our partner universities.>

Like our valued exchange partners, each Channel will be a bit different, but we anticipate they may feature Q&A video panels, active chat messaging, lots of downloadable promotional material, and short presentations.

You will be sent a Fair Guide in advance of the session so you will know how to navigate these Channels with ease.

We encourage you to register for as many sessions as you would like to attend. Please note that exchange partners may vary between faculties and that we may not have representation at the fair from all our exchange partners.

Learn how to plan financially for studying abroad! There may be large expenses to plan for while on exchange but there are also terrific supports for students, such as bursaries, Queen's scholarships, and external scholarships. Join the Office of Student Awards staff to learn more!

Your wellbeing is a top priority whether you’re in Kingston, Tokyo, or Rabat! Staff from the International Programs Office and Student Wellness Services will provide an overview of key considerations for supporting mental and physical health while adjusting to life in another country. This webinar will also speak to the importance of researching accommodation services when vetting partner universities before applying.

The IPO has more than 100 exchange partner universities in over 30 countries…so where do you begin? This session will provide an overview of:

• partner universities
• their eligibility requirements, and
• an explanation of tools we have developed to help you research them.

Every year students request placement at partners for which they do not meet eligibility requirements. We want to help you avoid these simple mistakes. Join us for an introduction to our amazing collection of partners.
