The Department of Sociology is remembering our friend and colleague Vincent Mosco, Professor in the Department in the 1980s and returning as a Canada Research Chair in Communication and Society in 2003, and Emeritus Professor from 2011. He was a major international figure in the Sociology of Media and Communications, a prolific author, as well as a treasured colleague and mentor to many graduate students.
