Student Feedback Procedures

Student Wellness Services (SWS) is committed to providing excellent student-centered care and services to Queen's University students. We welcome positive feedback as well as suggestions for improvement. We take all comments and feedback seriously.

We offer a dedicated online feedback form so students can provide suggestions on how to improve our services. 

Providing written feedback, positive or negative, enables students to:

  • clearly convey their experiences
  • feel empowered to contribute to SWS' continuous improvement process, and
  • feel confident that all input is being consistently reviewed, that internal follow up with being done, as appropriate 

When necessary, SWS will take immediate steps to identify a resolution to any feedback-initiated issues in a timely manner.

Any registered ºÚÁϳԹÏ×ÊÔ´ student who uses SWS is invited to provide feedback through the .

If using the online form is not appropriate, students can call 613-533-2506 or come to the Côté Sharp Student Wellness Centre in Mitchell Hall and ask to speak to the appropriate staff member or administrator. If no one is immediately available, an appointment will be booked within 2-3 business days.

Students are encouraged to provide feedback as soon as possible, ideally within 30 calendar days from their appointment or visit to SWS, so we can respond in a timely manner, as needed.

The administrator/manager will review the feedback received and respond within 5 business days. A response may include an offer to meet to discuss the feedback, seek clarification, and identify next steps as appropriate, subject to the students' preferences/wishes.

Any staff members involved will be notified of feedback received. Feedback will be reviewed regularly by the SWS Leadership Team and will inform continuous improvement processes and trainings.

If the feedback includes any concerns that cannot be immediately addressed or resolved per the process above, a SWS Senior Administrator will be engaged to lead further action, as appropriate.
