���ϳԹ���Դ and the Public Service Alliance of Canada Local 901 (Unit 1) (“PSAC”)

���ϳԹ���Դ is pleased to advise that it, the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) and CUPE Local 229 (Tradespeople / Maintenance Workers and Caretakers / Custodians), Local 1302 (Library Technicians), and Local 254 (Lab Technicians) have reached tentative deals to renew their Collective Agreements, after extensive negotiations over the weekend.

The agreements are tentative and still subject to successful ratification by all the parties involved. Full details of the agreements will remain confidential pending their ratifications.

���ϳԹ���Դ is engaged in negotiating with three of its Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Locals in efforts to reach agreements to renew the collective agreements between the university and CUPE Local 229 (Tradespeople / Maintenance Workers and Caretakers / Custodians), Local 1302 (Library Technicians), and Local 254 (Lab Technicians). The three Locals collectively represent approximately 425 employees.

In December 2024, ���ϳԹ���Դ began talks with United Steelworkers (USW) Local 2010, to negotiate the renewal of the Collective Agreement between Local 2010 and the University

The Public Service Alliance of Canada PSAC Local 901 (Unit 1) has applied to the Ministry of Labour for the appointment of a conciliation officer to confer with the parties. 

���ϳԹ���Դ remains committed to its ongoing negotiations with the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) and to achieving negotiated renewal collective agreements with Local 229 (Tradespeople / Maintenance Workers and Caretakers / Custodians), Local 1302 (Library Technicians), and Local 254 (Lab Technicians).
